The Grandstream GXW-4108 enables businesses of all sizes to create an easy-to deploy VoIP solution. This FXO gateway offers the ability to seamlessly connect multiple locations and all devices within an office to any hosted or on premise IP PBX network to make deployments as easy as possible. The GXW-4108 features 8 FXO ports, 2 10/100 Mbps ports and supports SIP video through the H.264 codec. Advanced telephony features, easy automated provisioning and superb voice quality allow the GXW-4108 to be the ideal VoIP gateway for businesses.

A SIP proxy server such as Asterisk or a SIP registrar server can be deployed with the GXW-4108 series. In this environment, the SIP server handles SIP registration and call control and the GXW-4108 processes media conversion between IP and PSTN calls. By design, the system supports the North American call progress tones and signaling standards on PSTN sides.
