i-MO 225 Series 5G Multichannel Bonding Router
i-MO 225 Series 5G Multichannel Bonding Router
The i-MO 225 Series multichannel router is perfect for connecting a branch office, home office, temporary location, or mobile service to the Internet or corporate LAN with great performance and reliability.
The appliance comes with two 5G capable modems as standard. Individual 5G links can be joined together for increased bandwidth and robustness, or they can run on their own. Different traffic types can be routed over distinct LTE lines when run independently (e.g. one link for data, the other for VOIP). The machine can be configured with up to four SIM cards from different networks, allowing for SIM switching to manage data allowances. High-performance MiMo type 5G aerial designs are supported (each modem / antenna has a SMA type "main" and "diversity" connector).
i-MO 225 5G Key Features
- Load-Balancing/Bonding Router
- 2x 5G Modems, 8x SMA, 2x Gigabit Ethernet
- Optibond Software
The device has two Ethernet ports that can be set up as two LANs or one LAN and one WAN. Allows for the bonding of cellular and other lines, as well as failover from xDSL to 5G or 5G to satellite, for example. The appliance can be configured for link-failover (e.g., from WAN to cellular) as well as link aggregation to improve performance via the administrative web interface. The appliance has a small form factor of 185mm x 65mm x 195mm and may be mounted in a variety of ways. The machine can be powered by either the accompanying external AC adapter (100–240V, 50-60Hz) or a regulated 12V automotive type supply.
Bonds multiple connections:
i-MO allows you to combine or bond wired and wireless services as you need them. The i-MO 225 Series bonding routers can bond two 5G connections plus one WAN connection as standard for unrivalled speed and uptime. Add external USB devices to further enhance performance and resilience.
Bonds intelligently:
The i-MO bonding algorithm automatically distributes traffic across available connections and manages these to achieve optimal performance, equalisation of data consumption. Also offered is the facility for automatic failover between primary (e.g. DSL) and secondary (e.g. wireless) connections.
Bonds as you like it:
i-MO uses an end-to-end tunnelling protocol to aggregate bandwidth. Assembling and managing data across multiple bearers requires a suitable Appliance at either end of the link. With i-MO you have the option of using our proven vendor delivered Managed Service (no equipment required other than at the site where connectivity is required) or, alternatively, deploy our Virtual Concentrator in a maintained environment (e.g. your Data Centre) and deliver your own bonding services. All i-MO Appliances can also support simple load balancing across available connections where low cost and simplicity is a priority. Load balanced setups do not require a second endpoint appliance.
5G compatibility built in:
As standard two 5G cellular modems are embedded in the i-MO 225 Appliance. These support cellular mobile data networks which comply with 5G, 4G+ / LTE-A, 4G / LTE, HSUPA, HSDPA, 3G.
