Algo 1196 Satellite Horn Speaker
Algo 1196 Satellite Horn Speaker
The Algo 1196 Satellite Horn Speaker is designed for use with the Algo 8196 (sold separately), this product allows you to connect up to three Algo 1196 satellite speakers to extend coverage. The satellite speakers are daisy-chained using CAT5/CAT6 patch cables and automatically detected by the 8196 IP Speaker for monitoring. The number of connected satellite speakers is displayed in the 8196 web GUI and the 8300 Supervision Controller (sold separately).
Algo 1196 Key Features:
- SIP, Multicast, Polycom Group Page, InformaCast, Revolution
- 16W audio output power from PoE+
- Web GUI configurable + centralized provisioning
- TLS, MTLS, SRTP security
- Near limitless zoning options
- Multicast scalable
- Ambient noise responsive
- Codec support for G.711, G.722, OPUS 48 kHz
The satellite speakers resemble the 8196 IP speaker and respond to ambient noise based on its microphone detection. They adopt the 8196 speaker's zone and volume settings by default. Installers should have knowledge of Voice over IP configuration and programming via a web interface. Power over Ethernet is required, and a PoE Injector can be used if unavailable. The controller is for indoor use, while the door station is suitable for indoor/outdoor deployment. Basic computer networking and Voice over IP experience is necessary.
